Samuel Joyce (Sam)

Samuel Joyce is an experienced and accomplished teacher, musician and composer.

After graduating from the Jazz studies course at Leeds College Of Music in 2008 he has gone on to teach, perform and write in many varied roles and capacities. Although Jazz is his speciality, Samuel is well versed in teaching in all styles and genres as well as different methods of tutoring, he is happy to focus on a goal orientated approach (ABRSM/Trinity/Rockschool grades etc), a less driven and more creative approch, or anything in between. The only requirement is that the student enjoys themselves and wants to practice, keep learning and having fun!

Happy and experienced with all abilities and ages, Samuel can also help and focus on other aspects of music making such as composing/improvising/theory as well as ear training and music appreciation.
