In addition to individuals and group teaching, Yip is also a school music teacher who teaches the IB curriculum at Lutheran Academy. In 2015, Yip won two composition awards from the ICF music festival, USA and Up close with Music, Ireland. Yip’s teaching style guides students to find their music styles rather than just feeding information.
