Qualification(s): Bachelor's degree in Violin, Master's degree in Music and New Technology, Diploma as a Music Therapist, first year PhD student in Music at the University of Huddersfield.

My name is Alessia, I am a musician from Italy and I am currently doing a Ph.D. in music at the University of Huddersfield.

I have many years of experience in teaching, with different ages. I can teach one to one lessons and also groups.

I am a passionate and patient teacher that is happy to follow adults or children in their difficult but rewarding journey of learning how to play the violin.

I have experience both with children and beginner adults. I suggest lessons of half an hour for the beginning, that can then become 45 minutes or an hour as we go on.

We can have lessons at Keith Dawson’s school of music in Marsh, or at my home in Newsome.
