Daniel Chidgey

My name is Daniel Chidgey and I am a Trumpet player based In South Wales.
I learnt Trumpet and musical theory while at school completing Grade 5 Theory at age 9, and Grade 8 trumpet at 15. While at college I passed a Diploma ABRSM on the trumpet.

After college I joined the British Army as a musician, and for 4 years enjoyed playing with some amazing musicians, and in some fantastic venues all over the world.

Unsatisfied with my College A levels and diploma on the trumpet I left the Army to go to the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and do a Bachelor of Music honours degree. I am in my final year and have loved it and learnt a lot from the experience.

I have been teaching Trumpet since arriving in Wales and have taught children and adults alike.

I am a passionate, hardworking and dedicated and enjoy teaching people of all standards and ages, and I hope my enthusiasm can infect others with the music bug.
