Cally Evans

My name is Cally Evans, I am a music tutor. I have my own website, and I  work through Tutorful. I have found teaching over the last year to be highly rewarding and engaging. I love meeting new people, and I have been challenged in many ways as a tutor.

I am very passionate about music, and I love sharing my knowledge with others. I love being open to what my students enjoy, how they learn, and more specifically, what they wish to learn and explore. I teach as young as 4 or 5 years old, and any age onwards. I teach all levels for violin, and teach beginner piano, voice, or keyboard. Music theory is also on offer for those looking to undertake any exams.

My main expertise lies within classical music, however, I have had some experience with Ceilidh/ folk/ Scottish music, and very much enjoy improvisation. I have experience in playing piano whilst singing too. So, whatever you may wish to go for, I’m open to whatever you may choose. I highly value what my students (and parents) look for in lessons and always look to grow in my teaching approaches. I incorporate fun activities and games at the beginning stages, to make different concepts more understandable and engaging.
