Andrew Howes

Classical guitar and folk-fiddle are my two musical loves in life. I have been a performer and teacher of stringed instruments and a teacher of  academic music for over thirty-five years and thoroughly enjoy it.  In common with most of my colleagues I teach composition and music theory. I have played and sung in many kinds of ensembles covering many kinds of music from solo performances to bands, choirs and orchestras and written many different types of music. I also do professional arrangements for guitar ensembles. Home visits are available for a small extra fee within five miles of Winchester. Half-hour lessons are available for younger learners and home visits for a small additional charge.
