Ross Hayburn

Hey there! And firstly, thank you for checking out my profile!

I’m Ross, 23 years old, and currently studying for a masters in mechanical engineering at Queen’s University. Drumming has always been my passion – having completed all grades and played with multiple senior ensembles, musicals and events whilst at secondary school, I then moved onto the Belfast music scene. Here, I’ve played and recorded drums for multiple talented artists, achieving radio play and TV appearances, and am currently playing regular gigs at the weekends.

I began teaching in 2015 through a highly regarded music school. Since then, I have taught over 100 drummers from beginner to advanced, with a 100% pass rate in all grades. My lessons are always tailored to the pupil as everyone learns in different ways and at different rates, but no matter what they’re always good craic! I also ensure theory and technical skills are taught from the very beginning as this is how we develop our own style and become unique.

I am now teaching from my brand new studio, and I can’t wait to build our drumming community! Don’t hesitate to get in touch for a chat. Teaching all abilities from ages 7-107.
