I strive to help people start their musical journey and reach their goals, whether it be to write a song, join a jam, or gain confidence to perform. I cater every lesson to each individual student, focusing on right hand technique to create a high level of skill, and thus making learning songs or traditional tunes much easier. I have spent many years studying banjo styles and reading about the history, and enjoy sharing that tradition with students. I have had many students of the guitar who want to take their playing to the next level, and I am always able to help with new technique and styles.

I am happy to let people come try a banjo for the first time, and play one of mine.
