James Egan-Hawes

I am a 31-year old Drum Tutor based in Southampton. I have been drumming for around 13 years now and have gained a wide range of experience; including playing in 3 different bands with which I have played many live shows and have recorded various songs and EP’s .

I am enthusiastic and reliable with 6 years of teaching experience and will be a great help to beginner and intermediate players and those who are learning the Rock School syllabus grades 1-8. I consider the pupil’s enjoyment of the lesson to be very important and strive to keep the lesson as enjoyable and personalised as I can. I’ve previously worked at Tree Of Life Guitars shop in Hampton as a Drum Tutor and have an up to date DBS/CRB check to hand.

In short, I am an extremely dedicated and passionate working musician and would love to pass on my enthusiasm for drumming to any standard of a drummer who is wanting to learn.
